We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: PICU Registered Nurse in Washington, DC.

Requirements

• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS
• Required Skills: Pediatric Step Down, PICU, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Insulin administration, IV Insulin Pumps, Management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/ management, Isolation Precautions, Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Starting and maintaining IVs, TPN/Lipids, Antiarrhythmics, Anti-Seizure Medications, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Assist with lumbar puncture, Assist/maintain chest tube, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care, Ventilator Management, Acute/chronic renal failure, Pre/Post Hemodialysis, Urinary catheter insertion/management, Infection control/PPE, Vaccine Administration, Wound assessment/care
