Nutrition for Nurses™: A Holistic Approach is meticulously designed to integrate core nutritional knowledge with the practical aspects of nursing care.

This course empowers Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners to apply evidence-based nutritional science in their daily interactions with patients, enhancing both health outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Brigitte Sager and in educational partnership with the Institute for Functional Medicine, this course offers a robust curriculum focused on the practical application of evidence-based nutrition in nursing.

From understanding the intricate role nutrition plays in the body to applying these principles in patient care plans, this course prepares nurses to support patients in understanding the impact food plays in their health story and their capacity to heal.

• You will have access to the course within 24 hoursof registering so you can begin your learning journey right away.
• The self-paced format allows you to work through the 15 modules as it suits your schedule.  Each module concludes with a brief quiz that is required to unlock the subsequent module.
• Additionally, you will be invited to monthly live webinars on various topics.  Once per quarter, these webinars will feature expert faculty from the Institute for Functional Medicine  These sessions are optional and recorded, ensuring you never miss out.
• You have one year from your enrollment date to complete all aspects of the course to earn your certificate of completion.
